The Aristotle University of Thessaloniki (AUTh) has over 100,000 students and is the largest university in Greece and the Balkans. AUTh was established in 1925 and provides students with comprehensive education and training opportunities.<\/p>

The Transport Systems Research Group of the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki (TSRG\/AUTh) functions within the Transport Engineering Laboratory of the Division of Transportation and Project Management of the School of Civil Engineering of the Faculty of Engineering of AUTh. The scientific activities of TSRG\/AUTh fall under the areas of operation, planning, organization, management, and impact of transportation systems on people, the environment, and sustainable development. TSRG\/AUTh carries out both funded (from the public and private sector) and non-funded research. Since 1998, TSRG\/AUTh has participated in and coordinated several national and European-funded research projects, combining field knowledge with established collaborations in every project it undertakes, utilizing existing expertise within AUTh, and cooperating with external consultants and researchers. The existing facilities are continuously upgraded to meet research and development demands.<\/p>

Mine Vaganti NGO is a non-profit organization involved in trans-national research, education, sport and international mobility. With a staff of more than 50 managers, researchers and PhDs, designers and technical administrators from different specialized fields, MVNGO has a history of more than 250 international projects funded and implemented in the fields of inclusion, non-formal education (NFE) and education through sport (ETS), environmental and food sustainability, digitalization. Kargenc Environment Sports Club was founded in Sakarya in 2010 as a Youth and Sports Association by volunteer teachers. Kargenc Club aims to create an environment in which is<\/p>

–\u00a0\u00a0 \u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 physically active and well-being of the young people,<\/p>

–\u00a0\u00a0 \u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 full active participation of society in their social life (specifically social inclusion of kids, young people, and women with fewer opportunities.)<\/p>

–\u00a0\u00a0 \u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 at peace with nature and to encourage respect for the cycle of nature<\/p>

The target group varies from 7 to 70 years old since Kargenc\u00a0 has strong relations with stakeholders such as District Governor, National Education Directorate, and District Director of Youth and Sport in the region; and Kargenc includes these stakeholders in its activities to create a strong effect in the region. Thus, its target group varies as kids, young people, adults, families, seniors, and kids\/young people with fewer opportunities in our region.<\/p>

Kargenc Club\u2019s interests are on healthy life and being active by o<\/strong>rganizing sports activities to make the kids and young people physically active; social inclusion <\/strong>by helping young people with fewer opportunities who don\u2019t have the opportunity to do sports; by organizing sport activities for people in rural areas, specifically for women in rural areas; green activities by <\/strong>organizing awareness activities on climate change for young people and encouraging the sport clubs to reduce their carbon emissions and create and Carbon Zero Sport clubs; traditional games by p<\/strong>roviding trainings to PE teachers to keep alive the traditional games to make kids physically active and organizing traditional games events for the kids; traditional dances; <\/strong>\u00a0gender equality<\/strong>; sport injuries; and volunteering by<\/strong> implementing ESC Project in High Priority Areas with young people to create active villagers by organizing different sport activities to kids, young people, women, and seniors.<\/p>

Kargenc Club has a strong team consisting of teachers, coaches, academicians, physiotherapists, and psychologists.
